Author Elspeth Duncan, a multifaceted Trinidadian creative based in Tobago. Born into a scholarly family in St. Augustine, Trinidad, her father is a professor of botany, and her mother worked as a librarian. After studies in English Literature, Linguistics, General Psychology, Sociology and Criminology, then a decade in Advertising, Elspeth transitioned into a self-employed career: KRI-certified Kundalini Yoga instructor, animal welfare, writer of poetry and fiction,  scripts for film and theatre, painter and composer song lyrics and music, filmmaker, restauranteur, chef.
